Our daughter, Amy, got us into raising a puppy for CCI in 1994.  Since then we have been hooked.  Between Amy, Marty and I, we currently are raising our 10th and 11th puppies.  They are sibling golden retriever puppies named Candy and Christine.  The hardest part of the whole puppy raising process is, of course, turning them over for advanced training.  The best part is when you hear that the puppy you raised is helping someone become more independent.  It is worth all those hours that were put into raising that puppy into becoming a confident, loving, hard working CCI dog.
